Scarce first edition, in its original editorial binding, of this well-known bibliography and important source of art history illustrating the collection of Old Master prints donated in 1828 to the Bishop's Seminary of Padua by March. Federico Manfredini (1746-1829) comprising over 700 prints from the 15th to the 19th centuries. The copy comes from the collection of the famous 19th century Genoese sculptor, Santo Varni.Large 8vo, (215 x 140mm). Title-pages to each of the 4 parts (incorrect numbering of the last part).
