Contemporary full vellum binding, title gilt to spine; ownership stamp and note Aiméè Barvait on front pastedown (light wear). Provenance: Philippus Cortonensis (probably Filippo Venuti da Cortona, an archaeologist and one of the founders of the Accademia Etrusca, ownership inscription on the endpaper indicating that it was donated in 1730 by Filippo Buonarroti (1661-1733), Florentine archaeologist and scholar and great-grandson of Michelangelo); private library markings on the 20th century endpapers.[IN LOT WITH] CHISHULL, Edmund (1671-1733).
