First complete edition of the works of the playwright Pier Jacopo Martello in an unrecorded variant, with the 15 plates by Francesco Aquila engraved in sanguine.2 parts in one volume, 8vo, (206 x 124mm). 2 frontispieces in sanguine before title-pages, 13 engraved plates in sanguine before each play, all engraved by Francesco Aquila (some light foxing). Contemporary full leather binding with gilt title-piece to spine, speckled edges (partially detached label, some wear). (1)
