Jacopo Guarana (1720-1808), who drew all the plates, was a pupil of Sebastiano Ricci and Giovan Battista Tiepolo.Folio, (434 x 314 mm). Frontispiece, title-page, two leaves of introduction, 41 plates of images of mythological characters accompanied by engraved text plates (light staining to frontispiece and title-page). Contemporary binding in hardback with title stamped on label on spine (marginal tears to front plate, some light wear). (1)
