NOLLI, Giovanni Battista (1701-1756). Nuova pianta di Roma. [Rome]: 1748.
Magnificent, uncut and unbound copy of Nolli's famous map of Rome, considered one of the most important works in the history of cartography. The project, sponsored by the banker Girolamo Belloni, received the support of scholars from the circles of Cardinal Alessandro Albani and the Corsini family.19 bifolia, (515 x 800mm the bifolium).
