A FINE AND LARGE SANCAI-GLAZED FIGURE OF A WARRIOR, CHINA, MING DYNASTY (1368-1644) CIRCA 1500
The large tile-works figure wearing layers of clothing and chainmail under a belted cloak, and resting his hands on his upper legs, his right hand in a clenched fist the other left opened, all decorated in a green, yellow, ochre glaze and with his boots on black color, the figure resting on a nice wooden rockworks base. In good condition minor firing imperfection, a few restorations and chips on enamels.
