Offered from an important collection in Turin. Owned by the same family for over 60 years. ASI certified.
Presented at the Milan Motor Show in 1931, the Sport 15 was one of Moto Guzzi's most successful models. Presented as an evolution of the previous Sport 14, the Sport 15 was actually tireless, and was appreciated for its proverbial robustness and adaptability to various roles, both as a sidecar and as a motorised tow truck for commercial use. Equipped with a more robust frame, good brakes and the new saddle tank, it was a real success: in 8 years, 5,979 units were produced, which remained largely unchanged in their technical and aesthetic features.
The bike offered here seems to have been restored in the 80's and was owned by the same family for more than 60 years, when it was purchased in 1954 by the father of the current owner. It's offered here with the second vehicle registration document and the ASI certification made in the 80's. Vintage motorcycles lovers have here the chance to buy one of the most significant Italian motorcycles ever produced.
