Representing an 'Avalokitesvara', the compassionate hearer of prayer, modeled seated on a rocky elevation guarded by a dragon. The divinity is clad in ancient form, wear a necklace and a tiara, and is shown with halo or nimbus. The right hand rests upon the raised knee, close to which appears a parrot, the left arm rests on the rock with her hand holding a rosary. Coated with a deep ivory-white glaze which in part is relieved by pale russet-red and dark brown tones. In very good conditions, just a very small hole close to the her left knee, possibly could have been an accompanied figure of a small boy, characteristic minor firing imperfections, very minor wear.
