Since 2007 directs the Department Gilberto Baracco Decorative Arts and Design of the Twentieth Century.
Giacomo Abate joins in 2019 the Department of Decorative Arts and Design of the 20th Century. His initial passion for antiques has changed over the years into the attention to architecture and design. Having an active experience of more than 10 years in the auction market, he focuses particularly on avant-garde, breaking-rules design, or design intended as a language applicable to everyday objects, furniture and structures.
