David Sorgato directs the Department of Carpets and Antiques Textiles from January 2015. He inherited from his father Umberto and his mother Louise Michail – with whom he shared his first experiences of antiques in the early nineties – a deep knowledge in the field of the history of the carpet and textile art, as well as Roman art and Islamic. From 1999 directs an exhibition space in via St. Ursula in Milan, where he exhibited unique pieces, both ancient and modern.
